Welcome to Calamity Wilderness Survival.
Wilderness Survival for the Beginner and for enthusiasts —a warm, encouraging, non-intimidating, hands-on experience designed to guide you safely into the outdoors.
This 101-style program centers on the Essentials you need, presenting the basics at a calm pace so you learn by doing. In a supportive setting, you'll learn to assess risk, move with confidence, and practice concrete skills: you will build a simple shelter, start a fire safely, and cover water basics like locating a reliable source and basic purification.
Lessons emphasize safety and hands-on guided practice, and plenty of feedback to build your Confidence. By the end, you’ll leave with tangible outcomes—a practical routine you can repeat, a small toolkit, and the Foundations for more adventures.

Each event is a Minimum of 4hrs, not including travel time.
